Psycological Rehabilitation
Discover the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services (PSR Program) tailored for adults aged 19-49 seeking support, restoration, and maintenance of community functioning and well-being amidst serious and persistent mental illness. With Adult Guidance for Education and Treatment, our TARGET systematic curriculum-based interventions aim to develop recovery skills, recognized as best practices in mental health by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). The service's purpose is to promote recovery, resiliency, and community integration, maintaining optimal functioning, and preventing psychiatric decompensation. It reduces the risk of unnecessary hospitalization and higher-level services, focusing on activities that alleviate current symptoms, address underlying conditions, mitigate the effects of social isolation, provide illness education, monitor wellness action plans, and foster the development of coping and independent living skills.
