Our services, available year-round during spring break, summer, and national holidays, operate from Monday to Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Geared towards children aged 9-12 who require support in contemplating their lives, processing information, and managing emotions, we provide daily meals and snacks, along with transportation options for pick-up and drop-off from school or home. The IGNITE Pre-Teen Mentoring Program within our services aims to assist youth in understanding themselves and others, developing essential social and emotional skills, and unlocking their leadership and creativity for academic success and healthy community participation. This mentoring program covers topics such as appreciating diversity, building relationships, handling bullying, managing academic stress, becoming role models, envisioning the future, connecting with goals, unlocking personal experiences, decision-making, understanding feelings, finding personal potential, community awareness, self-confidence, stress and anxiety management, and effective communication. The IGNITE Pre-Teen Mentoring Program convenes every weekday.
